Zero LTI’s
We had 3 LTI’s in January 2024 alone, with Think Feel Act we have had ZERO across a 12-month period.
Project Brief:
UKPN (circa 6500 full time employees and 3000 contractors who are all geographically spread, office and field based, shift patterns and some remote working ) wanted the ‘next step’ to reinvigorate their current behavioural programme and to then advance their already well embedded safety performance.
Project Delivery:
UKPN had an existing and robust approach to safety, which had gotten them so far, but accidents kept happening intermittently. They wanted to break through their safety plateau.
The Think Feel Act behavioural safety programme was selected as the Executive Management Team (EMT) Leadership team saw how this programme was their next step and dovetailed to the programme what had gone before, not a totally new ‘next thing’ which they felt fitted better into what they needed.
After two free trial sessions to over 100 employees (mixture of field-based staff and office with a cross section of leadership levels as well) we were selected based on the resounding positive feedback from all levels of employees and how Think Feel Act dovetailed into their previous programme.
We co-created a bespoke package that covered
- 3 large business units (EPN, SPN and LPN)
- Over 57 depots
- Shift patterns
- Small gangs without
- Remote working
- Inclement weather operations
- Contractor engagement
- Supply chain engagement
- Collaborative development with unions
We trained over 9500 employees, using a multi-trainer delivery system to ensure cross-organisational impact.
Training options that were deployed across Think Feel Act behavioural programme
- Roll out training to all staff and contractors (9500)
- Safety Network Leader Micro-Nudge training (700)
- Leadership forum keynote speaking (circa 650 middle – senior leaders)

Client
Feedback
“We are now into year two of our delivery based on the results that we have delivered in the first year. The fact that such a large organisation went ahead with year 2 of the programme gives proof of impact.”
